The Home on Eighth has reported one new positive case in a staff member to the Minnesota Department of Health and local Public Health. The staff member did have interaction with residents on the 4th neighborhood. The staff member was wearing appropriate PPE during resident facing interactions. Any staff caring for residents on 4th neighborhood will be wearing all the proper personal protective equipment such as surgical mask, isolation gown, eye protection and gloves.

Our top priority is to keep everyone safe and healthy. We continue to follow CDC and MDH recommendations and are in contact with them as we work though these new cases of COVID-19. We are working with Mayo Clinic on conducting testing of staff and residents with potential exposure in the neighborhood.
