Coronavirus Policies – Effective March 30th, 2020

Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you for your continued support during this ever changing time. Due to new information regarding the lifetime of COVID-19 on surfaces we have implemented changes to help keep our residents and staff safe. Effective today, Monday, March 30th, Home of Eighth will no longer be accepting deliveries, including food items from friends and family. If you wish to send your loved one something it must come directly from a supplier, such as Target, Amazon, Walmart, etc. Please note that if you choose to send a package that route, it will be quarantined for three days prior to your loved one receiving it. If you currently do shopping for your loved, please let us do this until further notice to reduce the amount of exposure to our residents. A staff member will complete shopping requests on a weekly basis at Hy-Vee and Walmart. Items will be purchased through residents personal trust accounts at the facility. Please contact Karin Gray at email@example.com or (507) 424-4026 to submit shopping requests. Please call the front desk at (507) 289-4031 if you need to check trust account balances. To replenish accounts, please send a check to the facility.
