A Message From Our Mission Leader
Samaritan Bethany is committed to providing quality care to the residents. We are following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), state and local departments of health. We are working tirelessly to safeguard the health and wellness of all in our care and those who are providing the care.
What is Samaritan Bethany doing to ensure resident and staff safety?
Our residents’ and employees’ health, wellness and safety is our top priority. The following are just some of the protocols we have established as we take every precaution to avoid COVID-19.
We initiated aggressive proactive infection control measures and screening procedures. Staff are screened at the start of their shift each day. Residents are screened twice daily, including O2 levels.
To protect our residents and staff, all employees are wearing face masks as recommended by state and federal guidelines to reduce the likelihood of transmitting the virus. Residents have also been given face masks to wear when they leave their rooms or when with caregivers.
Our staff are providing compassionate care to make sure residents are staying mentally healthy and stimulated while adhering to social distancing and stay safe guidelines.
How can I stay in touch with my loved one?
While parts of our State are re-opening, we still are not able to allow visitors per CDC and CMS guidance, but we are encouraging and offering families several ways to keep in touch with their loved ones.
Options include: phone calls, cards and letters via mail, emails, video chats, window visits, etc. Check out our “Message a Resident” link, “Encourage Our Team” or schedule a time for a video chat, or email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask a question or let us know how we can help connect you with your loved one. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Please know that it is our honor and privilege to provide quality, loving care to your family member.
Be safe and healthy –
